Aarti , with a strong star sign like Cancer , born on 20th July 1976 in Amareli Gujarat is a story of unearthing one’s inner confidence and will power.
Hailing from a very well-placed business family, Aarti completed her education and as was the norm, she was married to Nilesh Mandaliya. Nilesh too was a businessman running gold jewellery showrooms in Rajkot.
Even in the late 90s, married girls especially in non-metro cities were generally homemakers. Aarti opted to work with her husband in his business as and when time permitted. Since they were financially well off the need for her to work fulltime did not arise. She was the perfect mother to her beautiful two kids and very happy in her tiny contended world. A yoga seminar was happening in the vicinity, and she was asked by a friend to attend this session on yoga and spirituality. Though not too keen she obliged and this impromptu session changed her thoughts towards yoga. Indeed, it was a practice that was worth pursuing she realised, however, back to her daily chores it was only in her thoughts.
A couple of years later she joined the gym and got herself trained in yoga. At this training session she realized the benefits of yoga and its magical powers on the mind and body. She had done a bit of it in school and this rekindled those memories. She continued the yoga sessions with keen interest and in time it became part of her daily routine. From sources like books, the internet and related material she began learning, understanding, practicing and understood its roots and benefits in life. Adopting the habit of yoga is like connecting with the God himself. Aarti realised yoga time is indeed moments of internal healing and connecting with the creator one to one.
In 2010, on International World yoga day she organised a yoga session that cascaded to outstanding results and overwhelming attendees. Most of attendees asked her about her training centre, this prodded her at starting one (Yoga center). She started a centre in partnership that that did not work out hence she had to give it a break. After few months she contemplated starting one on her own, however collaborating with a Gym made more sense. Personal training did not pick up but later thanks to this wonderful medium – Social Media it picked up. She uploaded her videos and once the word got around, she had many more joining her to pursue yoga – nurturing mind and body by reconnecting to one’s inner self.
With loads of confidence now, Aarti wanted to become a yoga trendsetter for Rajkot, Gujarat. She started getting very positive results and enrolments for her training programmes and personal training. Some of her client base for personal yoga sessions were big names like RK Building group family, Jay Vasavda and many more. She started uploading her yoga videos from different locations during her travels. One of her favourites is the one done at Eiffel Towers, Paris.
Aarti wanted to give back to society – what better than to spread yoga awareness. She did sessions for deaf and dumb children, orphan houses, auto drivers and just the common man. Mental health is a big concern world over and this was Aarti’s little contribution to our people to make a difference by way of yoga. She has to credit of being the only aqua yoga instructor in Rajkot. Awareness, training, yoga boot camps for marathon runners at all levels – national, state, district and city.
Every professional understands that learning never stop. Its important to upgrade and be in tune the advancement all over the world. She is continuously learning and practicing new and advanced yoga to impart to her clients .
Fitness is today a huge part of everyone’s life and people like Aarti lead the way though their good work and teachings.
