“Optimism is the faith that leads you to achievements. Nothing can be done without hopes and confidence.” This saying is rightly proved by Mr. Jimmy Advani. Who is the main organizer of the Ganapati Celebration at Trikon Baug.
His successful journey started in the year 1999 when he once prayed for something and his wishes came true. Because of his faith in God and his wishes came true he did ‘Ganpati Sthapna’ under a Neem tree at limbda chowk. Initially, people were not readily accepting the sthapna that is been done on the road instead of his house, but despite of this some of his family members, friends, and other people use to come and join them for Pooja and Aarti. Because of immense faith in Lord Ganpati, people use to sit beside Ganpati the whole day and night.
Then again the next year Jimmy Bhai did ‘Ganpati Sthapna’ at the same place and this time they got faith and support of so many more people. Gradually this Ganpati became well-known for fulfilling the wishes of the people. As time passed, more and more people started coming there. Building a team for collecting funds, acquiring permission from municipal corporations and police was a challenge for them. Gradually because of the faith in God, he started getting success slowly and steadily. Then as time passed, People started loving the beautiful statue of Lord Ganpati. They also organized daily events, prasad, and many more activities, due to which people use to get immense pleasure at Ganpati Mahotsav. Then gradually this Ganpati became well-known as “Trikon Baug ka Raja”.
In the year 2012, they started the webcasting of Ganpati. People need not to go there and worship God instead they use to enjoy the festival by just sitting at home. Then in the year 2014, a mobile application was launched for the Ganpati. This was the first Ganpati Mahotsav in Gujarat to start webcasting and mobile app.
Since so many years, lots of people are contributing for this Ganpati. People help in funding when needed, various preparations for the events and continuous support and help for any work whenever needed. Due to such faith and love from people this Ganpati is famous as Gujarat’s most majestic Ganpati.
How it all began!
Mr. Jimmy Advani was born in the year 1967 in a middle-class family. He did his schooling in Lal Bahadur Shashtri School and his first year of college in Kundaliya College. He is hardworking since he was too young to handle all this work.
He used to work for society and the community’s welfare parallelly when he was studying. In his college time, he used to lead the programs like GS election, cultural activities and many other activities. He actively participates in all such activities. He joined various clubs like lions club, JCI club and various other clubs which helped him in his personality development. His hobby is dancing and he comes up with breakdance. Mr. Jimmy Advani has done many stage program and choreographies for dancing and came with a concept as Marsh of music programs in the year 1985. Gradually he became famous for his dance and also started getting fame for this and many other talents. Later on, he started working on one more skill which is anchoring. Then as time passed, He started doing anchoring in Lok melas and Navratri. Due to his talents and his hard works he started getting good contacts. He has done anchoring for many years. He still does anchoring whenever he gets a chance.
Mr. Jimmy Advani is also a part of many NGOs and charity clubs. He is also running a group where under his leadership team they used to help citizens of the city to solve their problems. The team helps them in various ways, one of which is he and his team use to go with citizens at Municipal Corporation, Government office, courts and Police station to get the work done of the people. He is doing this help since the year, 2004.
He met Bala Shaheb Thackeray in the year 1994. He is the source of motivation for all these contributions and achievements of Mr. Jimmy Advani. After meeting Bala Shaheb, He also joined Shivsena in the year, 1994. Then in the year 1995, He became the city president. Later on in the year 1998, He got responsibility as district Vice President. Finally, in 2001, he became district president. In 2004 he became Vice President of Saurashtra and kutchh. And the President in 2007.
And in the year 2014, he became the committee member for Gujarat state.
The journey has been so challenging for Mr. Jimmy Advani but at the end, success knocked at his doorsteps. And he proved impossible is just a word, everything else can be achieved with hard work, faith, and hope.
