Creating a platform for entertainment, infotainment, mind and hand synchronization, inducing thoughts and at the same time bringing people together is not unheard of. Yes, in today’s life, isolation is a worry. Gaming is one area that encompasses all of the above and improves the social life of an individual. Jyoti Kapoor was always looking to create something that could entertain, mind train and do so much more. Gaming seemed to be her calling. Besides, she realized that she enjoyed connecting with people and healing another’s woes – be in physical, mental or emotional. Everyone can heal themselves, however; with a hand that guides, the process is smoother. Jyoti’s side as an Alternative Therapist/healer comes to the forefront here.

She Fest is a unique platform that allows individual entrepreneurs to display and sell their products, services at exhibitions. Jyoti ‘s brainchild with four other like-minded women. She Fest is known to have its unique theme like carnivals, book launches for the intellectual, Zumba and live music to liven up the environment. Very popular, She Fest are a sought after event in the community. The Fest has workshops, panel discussions, and debates on topics that need attention.

Cerebral Palsy is defined as a congenital disorder of movement, muscle tone or posture of an individual. Giving them an opportunity to walk the ramp is what Jyoti and her team helped organize. From the age of 18-80, participants walked the ramp and gave them a feeling of equality, which in today’s world comes with conditions. Breaking stereotype barriers, Jyoti gave them the confidence to ‘just do it’. Appreciated by the community and Honorable Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari who was the chief guest.

They have had many known faces and signatories as guests of honor and chief guest at their functions. Support from big brands like Moil, Abhijit Realtors, Jaguar, Tanishq, MSME, Multifit, Ford reinforces the need for change to the stereotype platforms. Jyoti hopes to carry this event to other cities in the country soon.

Every venture comes with its share of teething problems. The gaming industry, like many other industries, was hit by the demonetization and GST laws. Jyoti and her partner decided to swim with the tide and keep each other buoyant with the spirit of creating something new every day.

Every individual, be it Man or Woman, needs the support of their loved ones and family to succeed. Jyoti was born in Jalandhar, Punjab and studied in different cities because of her father’s transferable job as the DGM with SBI. Travel and change of school, in a way, prepares the child for bigger challenges because they are forever trying to adjust and win over friends and make a place for themselves in new places. Jyoti and her siblings ( sisters) had this advantage and as of today doing well in their line of work. Support from parents is the first step to becoming a successful entrepreneur. Jyoti and her sisters are ever grateful to them and thank them from the bottom of their hearts. With time and where she stands today, her husband, kids, and inlaws stand by her and her dream. The joint family system to date practiced in India has its advantages and for Jyoti it proved to be a boon in many ways.

Jyoti Kapoor, has many credentials that she is proud of. Her company Infinite Space, Wellness event and workshop organizer, pranic healer besides a hands-on home maker, Secretary to the Rotary Club RCNN , Startup recognition by Vidharba Industries Association and more than the above the ability to touch lives with the work she does and associates herself with.

She is also a part of Prabha Khaitan Foundation which promotes Indian culture and heritage across India and abroad. So she is one of the 4 Ehsaas women in Nagpur.
