When books become your friend!
When writing attracts you, the world seems to be made up of just words and chapters . Nidhi , born and brought up in Mumbai loved to read – it could be anything novels, magazines, newspapers and articles that caught her attention. She tried her hand at many fields, just to be employed and independent, however, it’s the power of the pen that drew her to the writing field.
Motivation from pages
Motivated by its sheer power and the magnanimity of words that can touch hearts without any boundaries and finding her identity through writing was her main motivation to take up this profession.
Journey ….pages to chapters
Nidhi had done four years of content writing before beginning her journey as an author. Hardships by way of her articles getting rejected did not demotivate her. Conveying a thought or a message the way the industry wanted was what she had to learn and master. Once that was done she took longer strides in this field.
Taking the plunge!
Having born and brought up in Mumbai the pace of the city was inside her. After she got married, being a typical housewife was not a fulfillment and Nidhi decided to pursue something to keep herself busy and happy. She tried being a computer executive, computer administrator and also the Amway chain marketing profiles. She felt she was definitely missing something – her passion for writing. Her parents were into cloth business and so was her husband in business of financial services and jewelry business.
When Nidhi took the plunge into the writing field it was not a cake walk. She had to deal with comparisons and lots of competition. She was always on the lookout for genuine clients who understood her worth and paid her what she deserved. Slowly but steadily she climbed this ladder and saw success , along the way improved her connections and network.
Balancing and Multitasking
Handling the smooth running of a household and at the same time balancing her new passion was difficult but not impossible, despite the discouragement of few around her. She went ahead and was able to do justice to both, to emerge a winner on both fronts.
She had her own willpower to succeed but was human after all. She went into depression when things did not work out. She self-analyzed and made the necessary amends to turn a new leaf and begin a new chapter. Support of her family and few genuine friends who believed in her was her lifeline from the lows she saw.
Chapters turn to books
Nidhi has worked for many MNC companies as a writer for big assignments. She has co-authored two technical books that have been published. Sheros , an all women networking site has honored her as an upcoming writer. The technical books she has been associated with are – Your Route to Academic, Research, and Entrepreneurial Success in Mechanical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence in manufacturing, Data Mining, and Data Science.
Ladder with steps to achieve
Her future vision is to work towards reaching greater heights through her writings. Conveying to the world her thoughts by way of her skill sets, talent and passion to pen thoughts and feelings. She keeps abreast with the world by reading , networking with like minded intellectuals and with focused hard work.

Her philosophy in life is to – Believe in thyself and mind your own business. That way the world does not bother you and you are left to what you do best in your own way.
