Nirukt Dave is one of those few who are gifted with abundant talent and is willing to walk the tough route.
Success is not final, just as failure is not fatal. The one who stands and joins the race after a fall is actually a ‘winner’. The spirit is what eventually counts. Nirukt did just that in his journey.
Nirukt was born in Rajkot, Gujarat. Both his parents were working – Father a retired government employee and mother a retired teacher. Support of parents always gives wings to children to dream and pursue their goals. As a child, he would use the kitchen utensils as a rhythm instrument & later he asked by her mother to learn tabla. Soon, he started training with Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya. He has also taken training for piano. During that training phase, he also came to know about his singing talent.
He was good at study also. During his childhood days, he also wanted to be cricketer and cricket is his one of the hobby. Gradually he finds music more interesting and started giving his time for this hobby along with his studies. After 12th science, he joined B. Tech in Dairy Technology at Anand, Gujarat. After completion of his graduation, he worked with Vidya Dairy ( Amul) for a couple of years. During this time he realized that he should move to the sound & music industry. For that, he gave the entrance exams for FTTI, Pune. which is one of the best institutes in Asia and he cleared the entrance exam and personal interview and got selected for the course of sound recording and TV engineering. This was the turning point of his life.
After completion of that course, he got his first break as Sync Sound Recordist and Sound Designer for a movie from Uttarakhand called “Aas” and that film won the best Public Choice Award at the Delhi International Film Festival 2013.
In the year, 2013 he also worked as a mixing engineer in animation TV series “Chetan & Chatur” on the pogo channel. After that he joined as a Music Editor in television industry, worked with music Director Rajiv Bhatt for many TV popular serials that people have loved – namely ‘Ek bund Ishq’ and ‘Nisha Aur uski cousins’ from Star plus, ‘Hello Pratibha’ on Zee, ‘Jaane kya Hoga Rama re’ from Life ok, ‘Boys’ from Big Magic, TV k us par’ on Zindagi channel, ‘ Mitegi Lakshman Rekha’ on & TV, ‘ladies special’ (season 2) on Sony TV & currently, Shubharbh on Colors TV.
He has a dream of being a contributor and sees the change in regional cinema. So for him, it happened in 2015-16 when he finally did sync sound for two Gujarati films “roll no 56”& “Baap re Baap”. He also worked as a sound designer for these movies “Roll no 56″ directed by Bhavin Trivedi,”Baap re Baap” directed by Sagar Kalaria, “Suryansh” by Sachin Desai, Kamal Patel and Dhunki Directed by Anish Shah & also played role of the Re-Recording mixer in ‘roll no 56’, ‘Baap re Baap’ and in ‘Suryansh’.
Following the above, Nirukt worked as a sound designer & mixing engineer in many short films. To name a few:

The circle has to complete its journey. Every individual ought to give back to society. Nirukt too was passionate about his home town and wanted to bring about awareness about the Gujarati cinema in Rajkot. He and his group called ‘Aanjaneya’ organized two workshops in Rajkot for song recording and song mixing. They invited eminent mixing engineer Vijay Dayal who is associated with Yashraj films and Shri Pankaj Tripathiji of the Gangs of Wasseypur fame among many other successful movies he acted in. Both of them shared valuable inputs and knowledge about the different aspects of cinema to those who attended the workshop. They are regularly organizing workshops related to cinema and film screenings to bring awareness in Rajkot.
Along the road, he is influenced by spirituality and this spirituality has motivated him to seek deeper knowledge of life and its interwoven challenges.
To sum it up very aptly a popular advertisement tag line would be in place: DAR KE AGE JEET HAI!
