The beginning of her journey
Since she loved academics, the teaching profession seemed most apt. Trupti started coaching student whilst doing her B.Sc . She taught them Math and even went to the extent of visiting schools to appraise students of new techniques. She used to arrange GK quiz and academic competitions for students. She subsequently joined a coaching institute called Scientific Classes as a Math teacher. Today the center is known as the Sardar Patel School.
Tying the knot
Trupti got engaged to Mahendra Gajera , who was a qualified engineer. He too had a passion for teaching wand was running classes for math and physics for grade 11 &12 in a small location. After she tied the knot, Trupti joined him and helped him grow this coaching center. She included class 1-10 and helped in taking classes and other logistics at running the center.
School to Schools
A couple with strong passion for academics, with a common goal – betterment for their students got them to start their own school. It was a self-financed school and the students were able to balance school with coaching in a better way. A welcome boon to the students indeed.
Krishna School in Rajkot was started in the year 2001. Loans to begin the establishment were paid back thanks to the school getting popularity and attracting admission. In the year 2004 a student of this school was ranked in State Education Board. A huge big achievement, for a school that was only four years old. A motivation to other students and with this upswing the destiny of the school too looked up. In the year 2006 a student was ranked first in the state board.
Small step grow to bigger leaps. Krishna school added branches at Kasturbadham , Rajkot with hostel facilities for students from other cities. Both Trupti and her husband Mahendra believed in high moral values and were concerned about the students and staff welfare at the school. They managed admission for this new school while it was under construction and infrastructures and amenities were being added. Parents of students were a great support and that itself was a positive start.
Jamnagar was the next destination for another branch. Trust on colleagues and staff members was the reason the management of the Jamnagar school was given to an old timer staff who was with them since 2001. The has schools in Kutch, Surendranagar, Morbi, Amereli, Gabndhinagar and Surat(collaboration with another institute) and followed the centralized admission system. In the year 2018 they have expanded as far as Mandvi and Ganhidham.
Keeping in tune with the world, regular training programs and seminars by industry experts are conducted. Environment not to be ignored one of the Krishna Schools is recognized as an environmentally friendly school premise. The have inducted the CBSE board too in their school. 2010-11 was a challenging year when they were served with a notice of cancellation of permission. However, it was only a road block that was overcome and with all permissions and documentations in place they continue their journey of empowering students through education.
