A woman who turned her cants into cans and her dreams into plans!
Vaishali Parekh was born and brought up in Rajkot, Gujarat. She has persuaded her throughout education in Rajkot city. Ever since she was a child she wanted to be on her own toes.
The reason behind her success
She initiated to do something what she dreamt of when she completed her BBA. She completed her BBA in the year 2004. She has saved 30000 rupees to start the business of her own.
In the year 2006, when she was doing her MBA she asked her parents about her plans for starting her business. Luckily she got the permission for the same but along with that, she was given the time duration of 2 months, if she fails to carry out her business she has to wind it up and if not she can continue.
Then in the year, 2007 she started HR consultation business in a rented office. As said by her parents she needs to earn something before 2 months so only she can continue, she got the cheque for her first work in the last week of the second month. And so finally she started her business.
Struggle is ubiquitous
Starting her business was initially not an easy task for her. She faced many challenges at that time because of society. Because in that era, people don’t readily accept the fact that a girl can do a business of HR consultation. Because she has to go to an industrial area, provide them with the best solutions, day to day transportation, be available on their timings everything was so challenging to her being a girl. Along with that people use to think that maybe she is working because her family is in need of! And what not!
As it is said, “Struggles are a part of life”, Vaishali has also faced so many struggles. One of the major losses was her ‘Startup of Job Portal’ which amounted to Rs.4 lakhs. She has initiated this portal but because of this huge loss, she has to wind it up.
But as it is rightly said ‘Passion in Energy’ she managed things on her own way, faced every challenge, learned something from it and started growing from it. Now finally she started to work slowly and steadily. She uses to explain people about what HR consultation is and what are its benefits and all.
How she gets into the 5S Training and Implementation service field!
Then in the year 2010, she signed 2 more works in the huge industries, when she was working with them she was given a task of doing a presentation on 5S training. This presentation was somewhere a turning point for her because during this presentation she got her attention on 5S training and found it interesting.
5S is a very old concept, which was introduced at the time of the Second World War. Worldwide famous Multinational companies are using this program since so many times, as it is very much easy to implement. Because of the lack of awareness about this program in Saurashtra or Gujarat, Vaishali decided to start a 5S training and 5S implementation. She was the initiator of 5S training and 5S implementation in Saurashtra. Then with the passing time, the program of 5S training and implementation was readily accepted by the people. But along with that, she has to face so many difficulties and challenges. Funding was one of them. Along with that, she needs to explain this to the people and also has to convince them about the same. But as she was full of enthusiasm and willpower and also because of her passion she was taking things very easily.
How her writing passion led her to the next milestone achievement
And so only her passion always leads her to success.
In the year 2014, Vaishali realized that the 5S material is not available in Gujarati language and so she decided to make a Gujarati material available for the people. And in the year 2015, she launched a book for 5S training and implementation and successfully sold out 2000 copies in the initial 11 months only.
Contribution as an initiator of the 5S Training and Implementation services in Saurashtra, Gujarat
Not only she is successful in doing things on her own but she is also fond of reading books, learning new things, helping the one who is in need of and always a good instructor. She has read more than 25 books and attended more than 10 national and international conferences. She has also learned the 5S distance learning course. Along with paid services, Vaishali is also contributing to 5S training socially. She is running a 5S club and also publishes newspapers for the same.
Vaishali is hardworking and along with that, she is also goal-oriented women. Vaishali’s mission and goal are to give benefits of 5S training and implementation to 100 industries till 2020. Vaishali has served her more than 10 years in HR consultation services along with 5S training and implementation. Along with this service, Vaishali and her team have also helped more than 1000 students in resume writing and career guidance.
