Life is to be explored and we’ll explore life provided experience. The one who uses the opportunities provided by life always accomplishes dreams of his life. That’s exactly what happened with Zubair Abdul Waheed who is an entrepreneur and event coordinator.
Born and brought up
Zubair was born in Mandya and brought up in Bengaluru. His father is an Industrialist and the Founder of the NGO Muslim Industrial Association. He also runs a school, The Mubarakah Public School which helps poor people to get a valuable education. His mother is a homemaker. He values her a lot.
He has always been a visionary and had loud & clear goals in his mind. Man with zeal to accomplish his dreams, he always wanted to be famous.
Path to pursue his dreams
The first goal is always close to our heart. And in the Goal Book of Zubair, the “Becoming Famous” made its place to the top. The first step towards this first goal was his participation in the College Fashion Show as a choreographer. This first experience constructed his way towards his end Goal of “Fulfilling people’s dreams, along with our own dreams.”
This first participation built his way towards his destiny. He soon made his place in the Fashion Industry and started working with Fashion Directors. One thing leading to another, he was being approached by famous Production Houses as he got famous as Model Coordinator in his city. He worked with various renowned names in the industry.
His Work & Achievements
As he built his path to accomplishing his dreams, he crossed various milestones of achievements.
He won awards for “Best Fashion Choreographer” for 2 years inline. Becoming a famous Model coordinator providing talent for both films and Ad shoots, he worked with various renowned production houses. He worked with various famous personalities like John Abraham, Imtiaz Ali, Fardeen khan, Feroz Khan, Shankar Ehsan Loy etc.
After working as a fashion choreographer, he wanted to add some twist to his work, so he decided to add Dance to his choreography as he had learnt the dance in an institute for 5years. He wanted to choreograph the props and their use in dance for the dancers. So soon he started working on this idea, connected with various production and event houses and implemented it. This is how he found his own talent in the fashion production industry.
Starting his career from College back in 2004, he set-up his own company in the year 2006. He launched his own Production House Zzeeh Productions Pvt Ltd by the year-end of 2008.
From Fashion Choreographer to Model Coordinator to Event Planner and Celeb Manager turned Entrepreneur may summarize his journey.
The Breakthrough
The breakthrough plays a vital role in the establishment of strong deep-rooted success. The first event for the Brand Wellkins hired him as event organizer and choreographer for fashion collection launch event. They wanted the event to be big with Page 3 personalities being a part of it. This first project challenged Zubair to find the way into the new road of success.
The event was a great success with 800 people in the event at NYX Club. And then there was no turn back.
Another breakthrough of his life was when his friend Nauman Sait won MTV Roadies. Zubair got to travel about 50+ cities with him and met the Youth Icon MTV Vj Rannvijay from where his journey as Celeb Manager started off.
He has successfully organized 3000+ Events and 700 + Weddings organised in the last 14 years.
Awards and Recognitions
Zubair and his Company were awarded by the World Federation of Businesses who recognize 3000 Companies every year throughout the world. It was a prestigious honor to be internationally recognized.
He won the best Wedding Planner in South India by India Business Awards.
He also won Pragati International Service Excellence Awards 2018-19 as Best Emerging Wedding Planner of the Year.
He was also awarded as 100 Most Influential Event Managers in India.
Struggles and Challenges
No success story has been paved on a smooth path. Struggles and challenges have always made them more accomplishing. One of the major events of a failure in Zubair’s journey was when he had to face losses in a few events and mortgage his mother’s jewelry to recover from that. Then the journey restarted from the scratch.
Zubair – Man with Vision
Zubair has always been futuristic and highly competitive in nature. He loved challenges and knew how to grab opportunities. He is a sports lover and loves to run in Marathon.
His wife ( partner in his production house)and his friend Chetan Saboo has been his biggest critic and motivator. Zubair has a handsome baby boy which is being looked after by his wife.
He is quite spiritual in nature and Prophet Muhammad is his role model. There is a long list of friends and mentors that have been a part of his journey. To name some Ananth Narayan, Aziz Kalwani, Manuel, Geeta Mam and a lot of others played a vital role in his career
COVID and the future journey
The COVID has brought new beginnings for him to take their journey to the next level. They organised lockdown weddings.
They plan to come up with low budget weddings, matrimonial websites and a furniture rental website.
They look forward to becoming a one stop service provider from Sagai (Engagement) to Bidai (Wedding) as a wedding planner.
